Damaged a new front door and took additional money from a credit card without being given authorisation to do so.

      Re-location Bristol to North Wales

The packers had finished by lunchtime on day one. The movers arrived promptly on day two and finished packing. They had loaded and left by midday. They arrived at the new house, 200 miles away, early on day three and had everything placed and unpacked by lunchtime. A totally painless move with friendly and efficient movers.

      Move in Bristol

The movers arrived in good time and worked efficiently. It turned out we had significantly underestimated the amount of stuff we had to move, meaning they were on site a lot longer than they anticipated, but they got the job done with only a little complaining. They successfully disassembled and reassembled some complex Ikea furniture. There were one or two breakages, but nothing worth getting upset about.

Efficiently done and great care taken

The guys arrived promptly on the day of the move and had a tour of the house in order to work out the best way to pack the vans.

All efficiently done and great care taken particularly with the many boxes of china and glass we had. All furniture was wrapped in blankets to protect it during the journey up the motorway to our new home.

A great team of guys did our house move and we would highly recommend them to others.

      Thank goodness

This was the bit I was dreading the most after having a very bad and stressful moving experience 10 years ago.

So thank goodness for these guys......

      City Moves were perfect.

Quick, clean, sensible and had a clear objective, get everything moved with care and without stress for my family. Objective complete.

On top of this, they cost the least of the other quotes and they had the vehicle size spot on with room to spare.

This is the confidence you need to move and the savings made afforded us a new fridge freezer.

Great company, expert service. Thank you City Moves.

      Move to Herefordshire

First contacted Citymoves in September for our move. As it happens our process became some what longer than we had hoped by this was not a problem. Provided a good range of boxes, wrap and tape FOC. The company have a very simple booking process and do not charge until the day of move. Lorries turned up in good time and the workforce were brilliant, very careful but hard working while being very conscious of COVID-19 rules. Would recommend.

      City Moves Excellent

      We moved in November.

We had three small luton size vans and four removal guys. They arrived on time 9am and we were packed up and ready to move within 3hrs.

The solicitors held up the exchange until 3.30 and the guys never moaned at all.

Once we had our new keys we were in within a few hours.

Great service and communication with a competitive price would definitely recommend.

Move: Cardigan to Eastleigh March '21.

On the whole, very good and highly recommended. I would have given 5 stars but had one small gripe in that we'd been scheduled for an 8am start for the move out. That changed on the day before to 9am (which we were told about) but on the day, it became 10:30. There were good reasons apparently but we weren't told and had to find out why we were being left standing around. Having said that, the following day's move in went like clockwork.

      Move between cities.

Generally, I want to recommend City Moves as the team that carried out the move were helpful, friendly, and worked very hard to make the whole thing as easy as it could be.

I think the back office could possibly sharpen their operation just a small bit as there were several confusions over provision of packaging and payment arrangements during the final weeks (mainly differences of understanding between the surveyor and the back office) - not enough to make me discourage anyone from using City Move - just as something that they might consider tightening up in order to provide a truly excellent experience. Some very slight damage to items, but nothing I would not have expected from anyone else as well.

Overall very good and would recommend!!

Long-distance move from Bristol, Bristol to Bristol, Bristol

From house 5o flat.

I was contacted by phone about 10 minutes before arrival (which was punctual). The two men carrying out the move couldn't have been more helpful, hardworking and polite. The move was carried out in good time and even the road being blocked didn't faze them.

Very Smooth Move.

The gents that moved me were fantastic. Let’s face it, moving is unsettling but I was so impressed at how quickly the picked all my things up, packed them into the van and whisked them to my new home.

They were friendly and professional and I couldn’t have wished for a better moving crew. I would recommend to freinds and family.

House Pack and Move.

Good communication throughout the process and able to jiggle our provisional dates as they firmed up and we exchanged. Lads that packed did a great job, and on moving day itself were well organised for a swift departure. We were in and in-loaded at our new house by 2pm.
Many thanks, and would use again in the future.
