My husband and I have used Willam B.Meyer, now Meyer Inc., for three different moves and would highly recommend them for a move. Their staff are extremely professional and easy to work with from initial discussions about the move in general, to scheduling the move, and the actual move itself. We are always impressed by the care of the movers with our furniture, and our floors, walls and doors. Thank you to Bill, Debbie, Mike, Robert, and Gus for helping us through our most recent, and hopefully last, move!!!!!

I used William B Meyer for an across the country move in the middle of covid. Needless to say, it was a complex move including packing of goods, short-term storage, long-term storage, apt move in/out, ceasing storage, move into home, and drop off at a furniture rehabber. That stressed me out just describing, but Bill D. and Deb R. ensured I understood the steps at each point, walked me through instructions, and got creative with solutions. There was one downside with the Chicago side damaging a table, but 24 months later when it was discovered, Deb was able to negotiate a generous solution. I would recommend William B. Meyer for any complicated or uncomplicated move!

My experience was excellent from start to finish with William B. Meyer. Bill evaluated my belongings and provided an accurate quote while accommodating my schedule. Debbie coordinated my move seamlessly and kept me updated throughout the entire process. The moving crew showed up right on time and moved all of my items out while ensuring everything was packaged carefully. Mike was also an outstanding crew lead who kept excellent track of itemizing the entire move. This is the second time I’ve used William B. Meyer and I appreciate the consistency in terms of efficiency and customer service.

William B. Meyer company provided excellent quality service during all stages of our move. I initially discussed the overall moving and storage with Mike Pickwick (Sales/Operations) who provided good quality advice on how to segregate the items between trash and storage. He met with us on several occasions and was very instrumental in the overall organization of the process. Debra Rivera, HHG Administrative Assistant, then coordinated the overall scheduling and staffing of the moving team. She was very instrumental in making sure the customer was satisfied at all times. The moving team, headed up by Peter and his 2 staff were very professional and efficient throughout a very difficult and, at times, hostile setting. I highly recommend William B. Meyer and their team to consider your move.

Move size: Partial Move Service cost: $6200

I moved from Long Island, NY to Los Angeles, CA and I thought I would be stressed insanely with the big move especially accross the country, but Meyer made this move the smoothest one i've ever had. Bill Douma was very efficient with his work and the way he explained things were very clear. Debra Rivera and Tesha Shipp the moving coordinators are amazing and work so hard to make everything as smooth as possible, they alwahs were available during their schedules, and if not they would always call or send an email back immediately. Best Customer service that can be provided. Izzy Baez and all of his crew were amazing workers, they called with time to let us know when they would be arriving and plan ahead of time with us. They were on time as scheduled and during the packing of things they were fast and careful with every item. Crew was also very friendly and very hard working. The scheduled time of arrival of household goods was also very accurate and they called ahead of time for us to be able to plan the day when they start handing off our things. After everything is left at the destination Debra and Tesha made sure to call various times to confirm everything was in order also to check in with me and see that there were no problems with the items after they arrived.

Again Overall and outstanding service was received by this crew and I am very happy with my move.

Without question William B Meyer, out of Stratford Ct, has provided the finest moving experiences we could want. We have used them for several moves around the NewYork and New England areas and each move resulted in the same outstanding experience.

Whether the sales and and administrative support staff, including Bill Douma, Debra Rivera and Teisha or the actual moving team(s) headed by Paul , the service provided was completely professional, sensitive to our needs, courteous and always timely and as efficient as sizable moves can be. Although we hope not to move again anytime soon, there is no question that if we did it would be with this exceptional group. Our moves were somewhat complex, including multiple stops from home and storage facilities and included items that were of great importance to us. Although everyone was very helpful, I particularly want to acknowledge the care and hard work of Paul and the moving crew. What a difference they can make. We have already referred this firm to good friends.

My wife, newborn baby, and I moved within Norwalk from an apartment to a 3 bedroom condo and used Meyer for the packing and moving. While it was pretty pricey, it was a great job and Izzy and his crew were super professional, thorough, careful, and amazing at their jobs. They asked questions and made sure everything was done properly. As we have a newborn baby, we paid for the packing services as well, which was worth it as they packed everything so. carefully and we were so happy with them and would recommend them to anyone.
