Movinga

I hired Movinga to move out of a shared apartment into a one-room apartment in Hamburg. So the move wasn't a big deal and of course I (as a poor student) wanted to pay as little money as possible for it. When comparing online, Movinga was the cheapest provider here.
The moving company that Movinga then brokered for me was, in my opinion, perfectly fine. They took good care of my furniture, especially my old dresser (an heirloom), which was most important to me.
In my opinion, Movinga is a good contact for smaller removals, especially if it should be cheap.

Highly dubious! Beware of the fraudulent scam. A moving company should make the move less stressful. Instead, Movinga never finishes the move, some of the furniture is broken and you wait in vain for compensation. You won't be spared going to a lawyer either.

During the consultation on the phone, the Movinga employee still seemed very competent and nice. You feel like you have been taken by the hand and guided through the relocation list and the uncomplicated ordering process. In case of problems (in my case a quite large couch) a plausible solution is always suggested. Furthermore, you are offered a reasonable price (upper middle field), 10% goodwill if something is missing on the relocation list, covers for the mattresses and insurance. All reasons why I chose Movinga.

Everything was great and professional until the day of the move, but the move itself was very different. Movinga hired a subcontractor to help move. Nobody wanted to know anything about the 10% goodwill in terms of scope. Meticulous attention was paid to the relocation list. The moving workers did not have the covers for the matzrazen either. You could still cope with all of that. However, the furniture was also treated very carelessly. Not a single piece of furniture was packed. At the end of the move, almost all of the furniture was damaged and badly scratched. The complete move over almost 5 kilometers with only 4 larger pieces of furniture and a little bits and pieces took over 6 hours. Most of the time, the movers were lost somewhere.

Finally, when almost everything was in the new apartment, we were told not to carry up the couch (not even try). The stairwell is too narrow. The size of the couch and the stairwell was transmitted to Movinga in advance. The suspicion of deception is obvious.

First we were offered to leave the couch on the street or to transport it to the move-out apartment (only 5 km away) for a fee. After a long discussion that more and more neighbors noticed, Movinga gave in and agreed to pull back the couch. The moving helpers didn't like that at all. That made the disaster perfect. You refused to follow Movinga's instructions and kept saying Movinga was not a moving company.

Subsequent complaints to reduce costs due to non-performance have so far been unsuccessful. We are left with the costs of transporting the couch for now. The damage report to the insurance company regarding the broken furniture also remains unanswered. You are formally forced to hire a lawyer.

The move took place in Rüsselsheim. When creating the rating, you have a limited selection for Umzung-Desination.

I had a long regret because you don't know who is coming, but because of the many positive reviews and the easy communication and yes - also because of the price - I decided in favor of movinga. We had some offers in this u 2 price segment, which were significantly more expensive, but our questions were answered satisfactorily. Communication in advance was ok until booking. Subsequently, neither the promised contact 5 days in advance nor any other arrangement had been kept. Instead of 8 the contracted company came at 1 p.m. because they had a different order beforehand without us having been informed. Allegedly this was agreed with movinga, at first it was said that they would come at 11 o'clock. No special box for the tv. Instead of a promised 7.5t, there were 2 sprinters, so that the doors had to be stacked tightly and still be removed so that it went without damage. Ok everything went in easily. The volume was larger than the 7.5t, but we wanted a 7.5t with a square case so that the furniture can be transported without dismantling. And we could have driven 2 sprinters ourselves. In the run-up to the meeting, it was said that all the furniture that could fit through the doors could remain in place. Everyone then helped to make things go faster. That was partly chaotic. An objection, instruction or announcement did not come from the company, but then I can move with friends and don't need a company. Furniture was not all packed as promised, it was only packed in the apartment after repeated requests, but some furniture was loaded unpacked. Until then, the furniture was on the ground or in the open air, everything like a self-organized move. Furniture packed in blankets, stretch film from companies and, in some cases, additional cardboard boxes that we have left over for reinforcement. We covered the floor with painter's fleece or cloths ourselves so that something could be placed on it. In between there was also a dispute because the situation was tense and the workers were of course finished with the heat and the previous move but all reconciled. At 9 p.m. everything was in the apartment. So far, everything fits except for minor quirks and pitted corners in unreasonable places. For the next move we have learned: Better direct contact with the company than via movinga as a stopover, because the moving company did not know any information about how to get there, from the front door to the street or anything else we had discussed with movinga. Now it remains to be seen how further contact with movinga goes and what happens to the guaranteed price reduction. But honestly: I would have preferred to have paid more money and everything would have expired as planned, without stress and tears and without my 70-year-old father having to carry wall units. Unfortunately, we did not come across a professional company like the one we dad imagined. It's nice that companies receive so many orders through Movinga, it is questionable whether they work from 8 a.m. to longer than 9 p.m. and even the workers say that it has been more often Problems with double bookings at the same time.
Fortunately, we have many promises in writing and not just verbally, even if according to movinga all of this is a matter of course. .

I recently moved with Movinga and was very happy with the result :)! There wasn't much that had to be transported from my apartment in Munich to Nuremberg. However, it was very important to me that my furniture and especially my bed be assembled and disassembled with the greatest care. The 2 men from Movinga were in front of my front door early on Friday - around 8 - and the moving boxes were loaded into the truck. Now it was the turn of the furniture! As promised, these were very carefully dismantled and packed independently. It was a short walk to Nuremberg and had no problems whatsoever during the trip.
When I arrived in Nuremberg, it went on quickly - my 15 moving boxes were carried up quickly (but carefully). The furniture and bed in the new apartment were set up with the same care. The moving helpers swept the stairwell and the apartment again and said goodbye. It was a great experience and I can recommend Movinga to anyone who has to make a small move.

When booking, I was a bit suspicious at first because the price was so much cheaper than other providers. But as I moved through, I became increasingly calmer. The team did a great job - hats off.
The truck came half an hour earlier than agreed and together with two additional helpers, the team of 3 fully loaded the truck in 4 hours. On the other hand, unloading at the destination only took 2 hours.
I would like to do the next move with Movinga again.

I am evaluating my move with Movinga GmbH, Berlin.

My move out took place in Dortmund, the commissioned forwarding agency which came from Nuremberg during the night was punctually to the minute, as agreed on site. The move took place quickly and professionally. The packing & assembly service was booked. The reserved no-parking zone was also set up on time. The loading time was around 3 hours.

The furniture was then stored in Nuremberg for around 40 days. After the first inspection, no major damage occurred. Only a few small damages such as scratches / chips have occurred.

The move was unfortunately a bit turbulent. Not only that the booked no-stopping signs were missing - the shipping company has unfortunately completely forgotten them .. !! so that we waited unsuccessfully for the shipping company on the planned move-in day from 8:00 am .. after long phone calls, it was announced that the things would come around 4:00 pm. At around 6:50 p.m. the shipping company actually arrived, but that evening only unloaded. Discharge time approx. 2 hours. For the following day, it was agreed that fitters would come around 2:00 p.m. .. you were there at 6:30 p.m. But then did the work very quickly, professionally and in a really friendly manner.

Due to the non-rendered services and minimal damage, I complained about 200, - € for reimbursement. Movinga is still in the process of clarifying the complaint, but has assured me that I will cover the costs and inconvenience.

Even if the move was a bit bumpy, in terms of service, price and implementation, I would again consider Movinga as a moving partner in the future.

A big compliment to Ms. Flathmann. Through her commitment and that on a Sunday afternoon, she managed that my mother's move could still take place on Monday morning as planned. Even on the day of the move, she asked me again how everything worked out. I could only thank her for her commitment and that we are already on the way to the new apartment. The two drivers were very friendly and quick.
I would choose Movinga again at any time, because the telephone support and the price are great.

After a long back and forth, I decided to move with Movinga. Biggest mistake ever. The date of the move was agreed on January 6th, 2016, as far as no problem had made the clerk aware that it was a public holiday in Bavaria. He said no problem. OK everything good. It was booked dismantling and reassembly of furniture and, most importantly, the kitchen. A pure disaster the subcontractor had no idea of anything, not even a meter tape, really nothing.
After they were "assembling" the kitchen in their new apartment, it occurred to them that they weren't prepared at all, unbelievable, it says in the order. End of the story The kitchen is ruined, the worktop is crooked and not measured. I'm tired of the new kitchen. The best comes at the end one of the workers says "you know today is a public holiday tomorrow you go to obi and get it and you can finish it". "We can't do anything you look, yes". So guys, hands off !! Now, of course, nobody at Movinga feels responsible and you only hear practiced excuses.
Sorry the work isn't even worth a bag of dog shit!

Uncomplicated contact via the completed form. Fixed price offer came by email, then a nice phone call with Movinga, in which I was able to discuss many points.

The move went without any problems, quickly and without damage.

The staff were friendly, and the furniture was quickly dismantled and reassembled.

It would have been desirable if Movinga had reported more and more of its own accord after the contract was signed to inquire whether there were still open issues. However, questions were answered quickly.

Everything went smoothly, very nice contact.
Very punctual with the move, everything went faster than expected.
No damage, no defects.
It was "just a small 2 room apartment"
The move cost € 350 and, as already mentioned, went without any problems.
Only large furniture and some moving boxes that I packed myself were transported.
The move started at 7:00 a.m. as agreed, and at 8:00 a.m. the car was already fully loaded. Arrival at the destination around 11:00, unloading was completed after 45 minutes.

We have had our heavy living room furniture (sheesham wood) and our too large sofa transported to the new apartment. When we bought the things it was already an act until the things were finally in the apartment.
But the moving boys were pretty quick there. Telephone contact was also absolutely fine.

The highlight was simply a small package with flowers inside that was now included as a nice give-away about 2 weeks after the move. In terms of price, the whole thing was also completely within limits.

Our sofa was scratched, but without it, it wouldn't have been cash because, as I said, the sofa was actually too big for the stairwell.

The move was for Monday, July 11th. planned from Cottbus to Rostock. After two hours of inquiry at the headquarters. To the surprise, the relocation advisor had canceled the move, allegedly not transferring any money. He would have called, but no message on the answering machine, no mail. A company is now being taken care of, I would also be to blame for having paid too late. Another inquiry after two hours. You always get a new contact person who always has to read in first: you are still looking, I shouldn't be annoying. At 12 o'clock they found someone, but I was supposed to join them. 12.30 p.m. everything called off, the car had an accident. Another request at 2 p.m., 3 p.m. they had a car, but now there was allegedly no transfer from me to be found. Since I had no proof, I had to go to Rostock, fax the transfer and suddenly the money was there and they arranged for a move. Additional costs of around 100 euros and no apologies from the company, I can only say hands off this company.

we had no problems with Movinga and the associated sub-company.

First of all, it was very easy to get in touch with us, and it was very easy to determine what the costs would be, we moved 80 KM from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor, but we only had large pieces of furniture dismantled / transported / assembled (cabinet, Bed, washing machine, dryer, couch, etc.). The contents had already been packed and transported by ourselves.

The costs for this large furniture assembly / dismantling, 3 floors (without elevator) and back in the 1 elevator. Transport of 80 KM cost us € 629, so we were satisfied. I also asked 2 other companies who said prices from 900 € - 1000 €. So we chose Movinga.

At first I was a bit skeptical about the referral to a sub-company, but I received a call from them beforehand to specify the time set by Movinga from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., so we agreed on 9 a.m. They kept to this and were there 5 minutes before 9 a.m. on the dot.

Employees were motivated and you could see straight away that this is not your first move. My real concerns were about the clothes closet (2 sliding doors quite large) whether you could take it apart and put it back together, but the workers approached the matter with sense and even took photos of how you dismantled it during the dismantling process, so that you can do the Construction could have used them again, but that wasn't even necessary.

Otherwise it was "just" dragging and here too you worked cleanly and carefully. A small part of the dining table bumped against it somewhere (black dining table therefore woody scratches). However, that didn't bother us, black marker on it and you can no longer see it, so no reason for complaint for us. Everything else was completely without any damage.

In the end we (husband pregnant wife) made the right decision and had a stress-free move.

Last year I was looking for an apartment in Fürth and immediately found a nice one through Immo-Scout. In the Immo-Scout advertisement I came across the relocation costs calculator and wanted to see what costs I would have to face. I typed in some data and got a call immediately 20 minutes later. The man went through the rooms with me on the phone and I was immediately given a fixed price. We stayed so that I will contact you after signing the rental agreement. No sooner said than done and the date was set. The guys arrived on December 1st, 2016, dismantled everything and loaded it into the truck within a very short time and drove with me from Frankfurt to Fürth. We unloaded and rebuilt everything. For my part, I am very satisfied. Everything went smoothly. I can only recommend.

The move took place in a larger town 30 km outside of Nuremberg.
After the apartment was not vacated by the previous tenant at the agreed time, we had difficulties setting a final move date. When it finally worked on May 15th, everything went like clockwork.
The forwarding company was there punctually at 8:00 a.m. with 4 people. The workers were very friendly and accommodating.
As the dismantling and assembly of the furniture was done by ourselves, the loading was done in 50 minutes.
After about 2 km of driving to the new apartment, the unloading proceeded quickly, smoothly and without damage.
The agreed fixed price for the move was kept.

Since this rating should apply to Movinga, I would like to give 5 stars here, but there is a star deduction for the commissioned moving company. Two cupboards were damaged during the move, but the head of the moving company was very unapologetic and did not want to acknowledge the damage. Everything was documented and discussed with Movinga during the subsequent settlement that this is not possible. Movinga has shown itself to be very insightful and has met me with a discount. I was also assured that they would deal with the moving company again and if they still did not show any insight, Movinga will no longer commission this company. That's what I call good customer service. Fortunately, the rest of the move went smoothly and as I said: Movinga would get full marks from me.

We wanted to move from house to house as a family. 2 adults, three children, nothing special except a piano. Booked services: Pack everything including clothing, dismantle and pack all furniture if necessary, transport (only) a good 20km (not from Regensburg to Nuremberg, but in the region and less far), bring all furniture to the place and reassemble it. We wanted to unpack ourselves. Since we have been relocating frequently, we have had relevant, so far mostly positive experiences.
This time we booked the move through MOVINGA, who mostly remained our contact persons. Removals Scheufen was the executing (or not) company.
The things were packed carelessly. Some of the boxes are only half or two thirds packed. In the end, objects were left over because there were no more boxes. Only what was in the box was taken away. In the planned time, despite allegedly detailed preparation, only packing and transport were done. On the day of the move, the furniture and boxes were only somehow put in the new house, despite the start at 6:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nothing was set up anymore. For completely flimsy reasons, the piano was never transported. We have now been following MOVINGA for over a week and a half so that the furniture can finally be assembled. They refused to transport the piano without giving any reason. Thanks to prepayment, MOVINGA can lean back and relax.
On the phone, everyone is always pretty clueless and incapable of making decisions. All plans and new appointments only come about when there is pressure, demand and very late. But then gladly at short notice. Likewise, the cancellation of subsequent performance appointments at short notice.
Accompanying phenomenon: over 40 cigarette butts each at the start and destination in the front yard, on the street, on the paths, even in the house. Also chips, soda, etc.
In short: it never gets worse.

At the beginning it seemed like this agency delivers real quality. But that was just good sales again !!

During my move, which was carried out by a very dodgy subcontractor from Movinga, where I had asked myself several times during the move whether these people had ever moved, I have been in trouble for weeks because of the damage. < br />

During the move, three men came with a loaned car from the Buchbinder company without any aids and dragged the furniture, moving boxes and other items to the street.
Furniture parts such as mattresses, real wood furniture, sofa parts simply wanted to put them in the dirt in front of the house next to the ash bins.
Parts that were definitely supposed to transport two or more people over the stairwell were somehow dragged down alone, no matter where you hit and drag along.
Only sheep calls and assignments often offered a brief halt.

At the move-in location it was the same.
Heavy furniture was dragged across the stairwell and floor without transport belts. Refrigerator and washing machine without a trolley somehow lifted over the steps.

Well, of course I have damage to the furniture
and much worse - both in the moving-out apartment and in the building where the move-in location was located, the brutal approach naturally caused damage!
The respective landlords are of course now also asserting their claims. And what is - of course the Movinga company has been reluctant for the last 7 years! Weeks to do something here !!

First messages were not received
Then there is no claim at all
Then the insurance has to check it first
Then I reported too late after all

In the end I will probably be left with the damage despite the not inconsiderable moving costs. v

I am moving is easy to say, but if you have to deal with it more closely, it becomes very different!
We were shocked by offers from nearby companies.
So do it yourself!
The calculation was much cheaper, but loading, driving 700km, unloading and driving 700km again meant 4 days with at least 3 people unusual work.
Found Movinga on the Internet, inquired on December 10th (Sunday !!) and received a call back on the same day.
From then on everything went like clockwork.
Received the relocation list from the consultant, filled it out and corrected it twice after consulting the consultant and signed the contract on December 22nd.
Moving date: 8.1.18
Until 8.1. we had taken everything apart and packed the 3-room apartment.
At 11 a.m., a sprinter with a trailer and 2 men stood in front of the door.
Everything should fit in there, and only 2 men?
After a short "coffee meeting" (the two had just finished a 500km night drive) they started clearing and stacking up.
(We were not allowed to help, we stood around stupidly with 3 people !!)
After 2 hours of charging, stowing, including securing the load, everything was ready and it was off towards Nuremberg (700km).
The appointment was made to unload the next day at 8:00 a.m.
They were there at 1/4 to 8 and 2.5 hours later everything was carried to the 1st floor.
The whole move was well organized and carried out professionally.
Absolutely no negative comments.
I will recommend Movinga at any time.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I thought for a long time whether I should write anything at all. I end up writing because I want to protect other people at the company too. I was probably 5 years older with this move because of the stress they caused me. I would give no points if possible.
Movinga sent a subcontractor, whereby only one person could speak German, each other only Arabic (I don't yet speak this language).
They knew as much as anyone else on the street would have. They changed the date 3 times before and arrived at a fourth time. After 3 phone calls, the company estimated how big the transport vehicle should be. Was even said that I was right to have 10% more transported. In contrast to the conversation, a much smaller truck was presented (as later became clear, on purpose), where the German-speaking man immediately said that what we wanted to transport would not fit in. When he said at the end that they were told to pick up the smaller car and even if it is smaller, you have to try to punch everything.
It went on that day, I don't want to be bored ..
The furniture finally arrived a day later, with 2 trucks and partly in a damaged condition.
Despite the new value insurance, I have not yet received a penny reimbursement and was told that the damage was only optical, so that the functionality was still retained
But you rarely experience such cheek.

Finally, moving is no longer fraught with stress for days, and the days of lugging around and calling friends are finally numbered. Movinga offers all of this in digital form and at an acceptable price. The moving company is commissioned directly by Movinga and everything else such as parking space for the van etc. is arranged. You really don't have any more stress. That's how the whole move went: stress-free for me. No sore muscles the next day, but a fully furnished, new apartment. Really pleasant.

After several increasingly large moves, but always with family and friends, the decision to leave the matter to professionals matured. Not a bad decision.
The contact with Movinga prior to the move was extremely friendly, efficient and result-oriented. Nothing compared to so many other companies that I had asked for offers in advance. The price was also around 20% cheaper than most other companies.
The time slot for collection was given as 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., and the forwarding agent's car arrived at 7:45 a.m. My belongings were treated with surprising care, but everything went smoothly.
All round positive experience.
