      Flawless International Move Experience!

      This was, by far, our very best customer service experience ever. International Sea & Air Shipping handled our move with care and excellence from Day One until the last day (today) when our items arrived and were carefully loaded into our storage unit. When another company provided no advance information regarding our upcoming move from the U.S. to Ireland, we went with our gut and tried International Sea & Air Shipping. It was a very last-minute decision, but International Sea & Air was the best choice we could have made. They assigned a person to our move (Jeanine) who helped us every step of the way to answer questions and coordinate with the many other people connected to our move including the movers on the U.S. side, the company that was in charge of clearing our belongings into Ireland (a very complex process which again was handled flawlessly), and the movers in Ireland. My husband and I are so very impressed with International Sea & Air Shipping, and we thank them all for being there for us and providing exceptional service. Relocating to another country is extremely stressful, but this company made the moving part a breeze.

      Very professional

      International sea & air shipping did my move from the US back to my country. The experience was great. Right after signing the contract, they gave me a date and they stick to it. They re-taped all boxes to make sure they were secure, and fully wrap the furniture. Their guys were excellent and organized. I received everything safe and sound. They are very communicative and professionals.

      Amazing Service

      Moving your whole household to the other side of the World can be daunting and stressful. Like many, we had read online about all the things that could happen. After reading many good reviews we chose International Sea & Air Shipping.

      Niki was amazing! She guided us through the procedure and she was quick to answer all our questions.

      When the day arrived, an amazing team of packers arrived to our house and meticulously wrapped all of our belongings, trucked it all to their secure storage facility and later packed it all into a 40 foot shipping container. Five months later another great team of guys delivered our belongings to our new home in New Zealand. We are relieved that everything arrived safely, apart from one broken glass and a couple of damaged ornaments. NZ Customs did open and inspect many boxes! We had a lot of glasses, so kudos to the ISAS guy who packed all our kitchen stuff.

      We do not plan to move again, but if we did, I would not hesitate to use Niki and ISAS again. She is very professional and her team really know their stuff.

      Long- distance move from New York to Berlin

      We were so nervous which company to choose - and we picked exactly the right one! Everything went smoothly and according to schedule beyond expectation. They were very flexible and gracious when we had to postpone the move two times because our elevator broke down. They responded to all our questions promptly and precisely, and

      International Move from USA to Italy

      This is a great moving company with serious professionals who are all very helpful, responsive, courteous and knowledgeable. From the office staff to the team of movers that come to pack - my international move went so smoothly because every single person knew the job that they were doing. Their agents in Italy were also very professional and helpful and our boxes arrived exactly on time. Their pricing was also very transparent and it was great not to have surprises on the payments side. Definitely would recommend!!       Moving from Puerto Rico to Florida

      I just want to shout out a big thank you to the team of Robert Ruppert and Talia Aviani of International Sea & Air Shipping. This company in record time was able to deliver my mother's possessions from Puerto Rico to Florida in 5 weeks. The company that was used in Puerto Rico was PR Packers. Three individuals who were prompt, boxed quickly and we're focused. Due to my mother's illness she could not be there so as her daughter and representative, everyone from Mr. Ruppert, Ms. Aviani, Sylvia of PR Packers and the movers were professional, courteous, time conscious, punctual and gracious. Each member of this fantastic team were always willing to answer any concerns I had. They understood my dilemma and that this was my first move from one country to another. Every step of the way, I was being guided by Mr. Ruppert and his team's expertise. The three movers arrived at 8 am and did not leave until 1 pm when the move was finally complete. It was time consuming and never once did I hear any of the three men complain even though it was a very hot and humid day.       International Move from PA to Kingston, Jamaica

      They are the BEST ... could not have been better! Excellent communications and oversight by Talia Aviani and Robert Ruppert. The BEST packers ever -- Juan & his team ensured everything was wrapped right so nothing was damaged. They were like family.       A bit expensive but the A+ customer service & care was worth it. I kept throwing them curveballs (my moving plans changed) and they were always very patient with the handling of my account. Paid a ton for storage. But ultimately everything arrived safe, promptly, and in good condition. (My shipment never went overseas, it ended up staying on USA mainland.)

      A regretful move from USA to Greece

      I regret every moment I put any trust on these people. Staring with the owner Boaz Aviani who must be the rudest person, the rest of his staff just follow his example which is rudeness and dishonesty.

      If the initial quote attracted you or the many years of experience transporting peoples goods,…. At the end…. ARE NOT the cheapest. As for the many years of doing business in the industry you will be indisbelieve with their dishonesty.

      The process involves more than just the people in the NY office. They hired the people to load the container and the people receiving the container and deliver the goods at the final destination. In my case, each one was a reflection of the owner Boaz. Unprofessional unskilled dishonest bullies. They hired a container that was old and filthy dirty, a company that they had no particular skills how to secure the different pieces inside the container and finally in Greece they hired Safeway Transport to receive and deliver the container. Safeway demanded 535 euros additional to what I have paid on my contract and unless I paid them upfront that money, they wouldn’t even had tried to schedule the release of my container. To my questions why they were…

      Low balled estimate to gain sale.

      I have had the worse experience working with this company. My sales agent, Hillary Cammer, provides a shopping estimate based on my list of things to be about $3500. They packed my things (packers too ALL day - with many breaks - for a 1 bedroom apartment) and invoiced me for $5200 because apparently my actual was larger in size. Not sure how that was possible, as I didn't have any oversized furniture. Once my stuff was picked up I never heard from the move coordinator, Marina Lara, until I reached out asking for an update. My goods were held for 2 weeks before being shipped. Hillary had assured me they would ship with couple of days after collection. I asked Marina for when my goods would arrive in Australia, she provided me with Oct 17 as the day of arrival because the were put 'on an early vessel'. I was only told about the delay after I asked Marina for an update, new date was to be Oct 28th. My goods have just now arrived at the port, Nov 5th! And I was invoiced another $2500 for port handling fees. Again, estimated amount omitted by Hillary. Do not use this company. They will say anything to get the sale and leave with screwed with your goods in their hands.

Disappointing

After scrupulously scouring the internet for a reliable shipping company, I came across this specific review page for International Sea & Air Shipping and saw the ratio of good reviews to bad (I wish I would have read all of the not good experiences as they're pretty spot on).

I was in the process of moving to France and had a pretty large instrument (Vibraphone), that needed to be shipped. The men came to my house, gathered my things, and my vibraphone, and communicated to me that due to the size of the vibraphone it would need to be consolidated into a single package at the warehouse.

Having never done this before, I didn't see this as odd.

A few months pass, my boxes arrive in France, I go through each of the boxes and find that the main piece of my instrument is nowhere to be found. The men that international moving co hired to bring my items to the warehouse, collected my things, and did not package the most important part of my instrument.

Meanwhile, everyone at international moving kept reiterating that they did, yet logically, had they shipped it, it would have been with my belongings.

Fortunately I took out the insurance policy, but even still, the insurance deducted $500 from the total of the missing item ($829) to receive the difference of $329. Which means I am still having to pay $500 + international shipping for my missing part.

The company has not offered to make any of this right and refuses to help with international shipping of the missing part, which is honestly the very least they could do for putting their customers through such a headache.

Regarding customer service, Ronnie was mostly great. I feel like he told me what I wanted, but I don't think they actually tore up the entire warehouse looking for my item, as he also reiterated that they swore they shipped it, which doesn't provide much inspiration for a deep search.

Hillary lacked in customer service skills to the point where I asked her to refrain from communication with me. She was rude, short, and often dismissed any questions I had with a, "Thank you."

Jeanine was perhaps the most professional.

Overall, zero accountability for their wrong doing and rather negligent and uncaring with people's belongings.

Door to Door Move from Covid Lockdown Germany to USA

Why do I recommend this company?

a. They have the best information on their website, bar none.

b. They have the best customer service, responding often within minutes. They made the "complicated" easy.

c.They have teamed up with great companies.

d. Hillary, who as the first phone contact immediately helped me destress about vessel shipping personal objects & art work during Covid. She explained how they will set it up, make the wooden boxes, etc. - in other words, she went through it - A to Z.

e. Talia, as Operations Manager did a terrific job organizing the door to door process. She was there every step of the way; be it tech help regarding the documents, keeping me updated,- even getting back with me to hear how something went.

I had searched, online for companies that would ship a 1/3 container load, Door to Door. After weeks of numerous phone calls, reading info, taking photos, sending photos, 2 people coming by, crazy high estimates, or "No we can't do that", I was ready to leave everything in a German storage unit and come back in a year. So when I found International Sea and Air Shipping, I was very happy.
