We got in contact with this company by means of a internet survey.
This company offered different possibilities to move our stuff: a 20ft container, separate moving of a car/truck, and our choice a big crate.
The information was clear and the ladies on the phone were all very helpful and friendly.
We packed our things in plastic boxes with a lid (Wallmart) and made a packing list.
Two friendly and nice guys showed up, loaded the crate in no time and made their own packing list. They were gone in about 30 minutes.
A few weeks later the crate was delivered at my front door on the little island of Bonaire Dutch Caribbean with no problems with customs, transportation etc: perfect!

Moving? Go to this fine company to get things as you want it.

Ronnie and his crew did a fantastic job regarding the move. My sister had her household belongings shipped from the US to France, for delivery to Switzerland. Several days before her shipment was to go to Switzerland, she passed away and I had to contact Ronnie an International Sea and Shipping to stop the shipment from going to her apartment. I called him, told him the details and he took it from there. In no time, I heard back from him saying he took care of everything and the household belongings would be coming back to me, as I requested. The ladies at the company were so helpful, they walked me through the paperwork and made the whole process tolerable. Then when the cargo arrived here in town, the delivery guy was wonderful, he gave me arrival times that worked for my schedule. This company was great, and everyone went over and above to solve the dilemma.

International Sea and Air was used to transport my car from Florida to Germany. They charged me a price for shipment that exceeded a second vehicle shipped with a different company by 20% more. they charged $1600 for shipment and DAS charged 1389 for shipment. Both cars were similar dimensions. Through out the entire process communication was poor.
Upon the car reaching Germany I was told to contact a container company to set a time up for me to pick the car up. The container company was only the owner of the container and the yard and had no part in offloading. Additionally they made no mention at any point that I would have to contract a company to offload the car upon arrival as they only contracted shipping and nothing more. The additional contracting ended up costing over $700, which was odd since the shipment through DAS included all of these services.
The "export Coordinator" as they are called did not coordinate anything and could not even identify a firm that could be used to offload the car from the container.
Under no circumstances should this company be used for moving your car. If they do move your stuff expect extra fee's, heartache, and absolutely no care for customer satisfaction. The bill of lading will also not specify in any form what they are and are not responsible for. .

This was the first time I had to schedule an overseas move from the USA back to Germany. I was in the middle of a separation and terryfied if I would be able to handle everything on my own. International Sea and Air was awesome. The service they provided was excellent. They were friendly, helpful and I could call anytime. All questions were answered, no one ever got impatient with me about what I wanted to know. From the day I called til the day my container was delivered the service was great. Someone could always be reached either by phone or by email. I would always recommend ISA and would always use their service again. Job well done and appreciated !! Merry Christmas.

I have had the worse experience working with this company. My sales agent, Hillary Cammer, provides a shopping estimate based on my list of things to be about $3500. They packed my things (packers too ALL day - with many breaks - for a 1 bedroom apartment) and invoiced me for $5200 because apparently my actual was larger in size. Not sure how that was possible, as I didn't have any oversized furniture. Once my stuff was picked up I never heard from the move coordinator, Marina Lara, until I reached out asking for an update. My goods were held for 2 weeks before being shipped. Hillary had assured me they would ship with couple of days after collection. I asked Marina for when my goods would arrive in Australia, she provided me with Oct 17 as the day of arrival because the were put 'on an early vessel'. I was only told about the delay after I asked Marina for an update, new date was to be Oct 28th. My goods have just now arrived at the port, Nov 5th! And I was invoiced another $2500 for port handling fees. Again, estimated amount omitted by Hillary. Do not use this company. They will say anything to get the sale and leave with screwed with your goods in their hands.

I've moved many times, and always get apprehensive, because there has not been even one moving company I would use again.  Lots of nightmare stories, including one that charged me almost twice their estimate, and held my stuff for ransom until I paid.   This was even more stressful, shipping an entire container from the US to Italy, but International Sea & Shipping were great, from start to finish.  They told me exactly what all the charges would be,even on the Italian side with customs clearance, how long the process would take, and they were all true to their word.  The guys that picked up my stuff in FL were the best ever - extremely polite, careful and kind.  Even on the Italian side, they did a great job.  Not one thing was damaged after all that.  Boaz, I thank you for being an honest, decent man, and Jeanine, you were so helpful with everything.  I could not recommend these guys more.  I feel like I got REALLY lucky.

What can I say. I hope not to move again in this lifetime but would recommend your company to anyone thinking of moving. Kudos to International Sea and Air Shipping.

International Sea and Air Shipping was helpful at every turn. They delivered boxes for things we wanted to pack; they were on time with the packing date; the personnel were courteous, careful and efficient, and when we asked for assistance and clarification with one or two things in the course of the move they were unfailingly helpful. We had a couple of minor things damaged, but with a move of this size that could be expected. Certainly it was not because things were not packed carefully. All in all, they met our expecations  and I would recommend them to anyone undertaking a move abroad. .

This company's service and client management is awful. The only good thing I can say is that they were able to help me move from Chicago to South Africa (unable to select Other in delivery country so went with the closest) at short notice, when my 1st choice mover fell through. After that, unfortunately their service went downhill. My first hint of concern was when the moving team arrived. They showed little concern for my belongings, going so far as to pick up a drawer and simply empty the contents into an already full box! They didn't take apart most of the furniture, simply wrapped it up and stuck it in a box. However, as I had limited options, I let it slide, upped my insurance and prayed for minimal damage on the other end. I knew that the port charged were not included in the original quote. When I asked for an estimate, via email, Ami cleverly did not put anything in writing but gave me a verbal quote of $400. Imagine my surprise when the actual charges came in at $1,800, due to the method of shipping. Rather than keep all of my goods together in one container (which at 400 cubic feet was possible), International Sea & Air Shipping decided to maximize their profits and combine as many shipments together as they could. This has resulted in an astronomical port charge as they need to un-couple the shipment to determine which goods are mine. I am now in a back and forth battle, trying to assess where the break in communication happened and I am getting zero response from International Sea & Air Shipping, after their initial response denying that they had ever provided a figure.
I am left feeling slightly sick at the additional costs (which I have to carry personally) and am extremely worried about the condition in which my good will arrive.

I Have moved back and forth from the US to Germany and International Sea & Air Shipping is by far the best company in my experience for moving overseas. Email were answered within minutes, I thought at times these employees don't sleep since even late in the evening my concerns were addressed. An all time first that nothing was lost and the arrival dates for delivery were what I was told they would be. Most Importantly, the movers that they work with overseas are fantastic and trustworthy. I Highly recommend these excellent movers and their team in New York. Caring, trustworthy, and reasonable pricing objectives to describe International Sea & Air Shipping.
