Dachser & Kolb

At the end of July 2021, we, a 5-person household, moved with Dachser & Kolb from the Rhine-Main area (old building, 2nd floor) to East Friesland (EFH). From determining the amount to be moved (March 2021) to unloading the last box at the destination (July 29, 2021), we have had very positive experiences without exception. From the professionalism to the friendliness and helpfulness of all employees on this project, the process organization and ultimately the price, we were very impressed and this made us - also nervously - the move very well. We can and want to thank Dachser & Kolb and recommend them to potential customers.

Incredibly unprofessional. My employer hired Dachser & Kolb for our move from Stuttgart to Berlin - a large, reliable logistics company, or so we thought. The job was carried out by a subcontractor and was a disaster and unreasonable burden for us and our neighbors from start to finish. I'm actually not the type of person who complains about every little thing, let alone gives negative reviews on the Internet. But it has to be here. The movers have missed any social etiquette. A selection - Immediately upon arrival there was shouting around for 30 minutes on the street and neighbors molested - Lots of butts were carelessly thrown on the street and in the front yard. - A neighbor in the house was spat at the feet when she advised colleagues not to throw their butts in the front yard - After a short time, the entire street stank very strongly of urine - The climax was a dispute between the team leader and another employee on Saturday morning, during which there was shouting in the street, objects flew across the streets and the colleagues finally fought in our apartment. Then even the police came - After the dispute, the team leader ran away with one of the trucks, so that only two packers had to load the remaining furniture into the small truck. The situation totally overwhelmed the remaining colleagues, which meant that the rest of the dismantling took until Saturday 2:00 pm and was only finished with "good coaxing" (mind you, it should actually be dismantled by Friday evening). I even have to give the employees credit for having finished packing at all - Due to all the delays, only one vehicle was unloaded in Berlin on Saturday evening. This meant that we had no bed from Saturday to Monday and had to take a short vacation on Monday Planning by Dachser - The scheduling was doomed to fail from the start. It should be invited on Friday at 3 p.m. and unloaded in Berlin on Saturday evening. I explicitly pointed this out in advance and I should be right - There was not enough packaging material available (there were only a few boxes of books and not enough blankets - bubble wrap and clothes boxes were completely missing) - There was no no-stopping zone, so the trucks were parked in front of the neighbors' garages execution - The company didn't arrive until 4:45 p.m., which made it impossible to pack up completely on Friday from the start - Only three out of five movers did the job, which didn't speed it up - It was packed in a completely chaotic way, so that the furniture and other inventory were damaged in a lot of small and large ways (creased books, dirty picture frames, quirks and scratches on the furniture, etc.). You can't complain about all of them - Countless drawers and compartments were not cleared, so that we had to constantly check afterwards so that nothing was forgotten - Some things could not be taken because there was not enough space in the truck After the move, I asked Dachser to think about how they could compensate us for the burden and inconvenience. I would have expected a generous voucher for something. We were offered an 80 Euro restaurant voucher with the request to sign a cease and desist declaration to ensure that we neither give a rating on the Internet nor initiate legal action. It's a bad joke to want to buy your way out like that!

I was under a lot of pressure, it had to be done quickly, "better yesterday than today". Mr Christian Matt, my clerk, made all my wishes possible - despite a very narrow time window - even though the goods I transported only consisted of a small pallet. To put my mind at ease, he also took a photo of it at the end. I was just overwhelmed by so much courtesy. Dachser & Kolb can only be congratulated on such an employee. But the other employees also deserve praise. All nice and friendly. I felt very well taken care of, also in terms of the price-performance ratio. One can only warmly recommend this company!
