A fantastic service from start to finish, 4 thoughtful and professional gents arrived punctually and within a few hours and emptied a 4 bed detached home and garage including dismantling of beds.
Great attitude and personalities, we had a laugh along the way which made it a less stressful and actually quite enjoyable day! I couldn’t rate the team led by John any higher.

Hopefully we won’t be moving again soon (!) but would recommend you all in a heart beat.

From the first phone call to Jane at Bass Removals to the end move was excellent. Jane arranged for David to come out and carry out a pre move survey and out of the 4 companies quoting, he was head and shoulders above the rest. From meeting David and speaking with Jane we knew we had the right company. Me and my wife did our research on the moving companies we asked for quotes and when we actually got down to the nitty gritty, most are actually man and van with no capability. We have a large 4 bed home with double garage and needed a full packing service and this meant a company that can provide the service we wanted. On the day we were met with Andy, Chris, Scott and Daniel. They were all in uniform and all knew exactly what they were doing. The vehicles were also all immaculate. They cover our floors, used Tv and wardrobe boxes and were a pleasure to have around our family for the day. Nothing was too much trouble. We did have late key release but the team worked later and got us into our home. There was a small fee as the solicitors didn't transfer funds until 1615. We knew this though and were more than happy to pay this. After all, nobody works for nothing and when people are looking after our entire world, you do get what you pay for. We have had bad experiences in the past with removal companies but we using Bass has given us confidence again.

I don't normally leave reviews, but I did thought that the service I received was outstanding, so here goes. Jane took my initial enquiry and arranged for David to come to my home to quote. He was very professional and compared to the other companies representatives that quoted, he was clearly the more experienced and knew what he was talking about answering all of my questions with ease.

The quote was sent to us in writing along with the terms and conditions via email. Really straight forward and easy. I had to chase most other companies for their quotes and terms.

When we had a date, we booked in. Jane was very good and informed us, as had David, that we couldn't book in until we had a solid, confirmed date as if we did, and the date moved, there would be a charge. Which is good advice. We then paid over the phone.

The day of the move the team of guys arrived on time, all uniformed and smart. Introduced themselves, had a look round and got set up. Floors where covered where needed etc.

The team, I have to say, were amazing. The care that was taken was brilliant, and the speed they emptied my 4 bed home was again, unreal.

These guys are the best moving crew I have ever had in 12 moves over 15 years. I have moved all over the UK and abroad for my work and I can tell you that you will be very hard pressed to find better.

So a very big thank you to all the team at Bass Removals and I will certainly be using you again when the time comes to move back home to Portsmouth.
