The salesman /estimator Bernhard was very knowledgeable and confidence inspiring. We chose RR based on this, even though they were not the cheapest quote we received. They moved us to Daventry from London over 2 days using a large lorry and a Luton transit. The first day packing seemed to go well. Day 2: The Luton had a crash on the way and our stuff had to be rescued from the damaged van by the lorry, which caused a delay. Various items were broken including our dining table and a number of items were lost through this happening. Although the removal men said that the office would sort out payment for any damage, this proved not to be the case as they will not pay out for anything under £500, even though there was presumably a vehicle insurance claim made. There seemed to be problems contacting the vans due to mobile phone signals, which made communications difficult. We had been told that portable wardrobe containers would be used for our clothes, but found a number of suits pushed into normal packing boxes still on the hangers and ended up very creased. The company were unable to get our piano into the room we wanted it to go into, even though a similar one had just been moved out of the same room. In the end we had to get a piano removal company in, who did the job in 5 minutes. I think our move became too complicated for the Relocate Removal Company and the office were not helpful when things went wrong. The accident was probably bad luck, but I would advise you not to use them if you have a piano.
