Guys turned up on time, packed up my flat in no time at all, dismantled furniture and loaded it all up following any instructions I gave them and always asking if I wanted a particular item to be kept out when they were unsure. So we left on time and arrived at my new house to find frantic packing going on. That's when the problems started: Top Removals had expected to be finished quickly so had another job booked in with our crew for mid-afternoon. When there was this delay I was faced with the choice of unloading enough of my stuff into the front garden of my new house so they could go off and do the second job, or pay £65/hour waiting fee. Arguing with the Head Office that they had told me the crew was mine all day, that I had not been told there was another job lined up, and that there was no reference to waiting charges in my contract was to no avail (and the person I spoke to was unhelpful at best and downright rude at worst). Chose the first option and the rest of my stuff turned up around four hours' later. The crew were efficient at getting it all out and putting it where I wanted it, so couldn't really fault them, but I would recommend against using the company given this kind of practice and the poor customer service I received.
