Avoid Relocate Removals - Removals Review

We were given a quote for packing, removal and unpacking after 3 visits. We accepted it and the dates as well as the number of persons who would carry out the tasks were agreed.However, on the day when our possessions were to be packed, only two of the four promised staff turned up two hours late and after several follow ups. The owner of the company was rude, uncouth, aggressive, put the phone down on us. We ended up paying substantial money to the greatly underpaid staff who complained endlessly about the owner. The packing which was supposed to be done in one day, took two days and we had to pay extra money to all the additional staff who were sent to help. We were charged an additional £180 by the owner (Bill Conlon). Despite our generosity, we were distressed that a lot of our possessions, mainly alcoholic drinks, an expensive watch, an expensive pen, exclusive chocolates etc were stolen. The insurance does not kick in for first £500 and we did not get any compensation. A very stressful experience which we will never forget and would not wish anyone else to have. This company does not deserve to survive.
