A company that should not be allowed to operate - Removals Review

Donot use this completely unprofessional company. They are unreliable and do not take the stress out of moving. Instead they add to it. I bought a groupon deal and spent quite a bit of time arranging the removal and also called up to confirm the move before the Monday move. I asked for the driver phone number and was emailled that on Saturday morning, by late afternoon that same day they have cancelled the job! Please find my letter of complaint to the company below which explains what happened and all lies that the company fed me. "You cannot cancel a job two days before without finding a replacement driver or getting another company to do the job on your behalf and your company paying for any extra costs incurred. A well run business would have appropriate back up or a contingency plan. You clearly do not. Your company claims to take the stress out of moving but have done exactly the opposite. Shirley said she would call back in one hour on Saturday, but failed to do so. Then all calls were diverted onto an engaged tone so noone could contact your company. Yet you claim to be open 7 days a week from 8 am to 8 pm. Another lie. Shirley was too scared to call you on the weekend because you and managers do not work on the weekend. She did not even want to call your mobile, but only email you. How can you leave staff in the office on the weekend without the appropriate authority and yet you are uncontactable? Shirley emailled on Saturday morning confirming the driver and their number, yet a few hours later apparently the driver had broken their back. However when I caller the driver as I could only get through to an engaged tone at the office, he said his back was fine. He said the van had broken down? What is the truth? Your company is full of lies. He said you were the managing director and asked me to call back so he could give me your mobile number. However instead he gave me Tolu's number. Again the driver was too scared to give your contact details. He claimed that Tolu was a joint partner, but when I spoke to Tolu or Tony as he likes to be called, he said he was only a manager. Which one is it? Again more stories and lies. Tolu was extremely unhelpful. When I called on Friday I was told that drivers get allocated theie job the day before the actual job, however Tolu claimed they were allocated the Monday before the job. If this was really the case why was I not told a week before who was my driver? Tolu seemed to see no issues with cancelling a job with such short notice, but given his line of questioning it was clear that as my booking was through a groupon deal I was getting a poorer service and being prioritized to have my job cancelled above others. It is clear that other customers especially groupon ones have suffered in a similar way. When I asked Tolu whether Irolis was registered with the national guild of removers and storers, he asked what that had to do with it. He then said no and that removal companies did not have to be a member. I find their website deceptive to say the least as they say they are registered, and say all removal companies have to be. Hence they try to give the impression that they are part of some professional membership when they are not. More lies. Others have found it hard to get in touch with your company. The phone is either engaged or to goes to a full answer phone which is clearly of no use. Moreover your website does not even provide a proper address with a postcode for your company. Your company should not be allowed to operate. "
