Long-distance move from Leyland, Lancashire to Lytham St Annes, Lancashire

Missing item

Here’s the thing, everyone makes mistakes but a good company puts it right. Peter and Chris just ignore your calls, txts or emails. In the middle of a housing boom we paid over the odds, there were few issues which in the current climate we an live with but when you see an item loaded but it was never unloaded and then you’re ignored it’s just poor character let alone service. Steer clear unless you’re paying less than £500 as you can get two Luton vans for this and not the £1100 we paid

Full house removal- Moving Home

A super service from Lee and Dale. They were punctual and worked hard to overcome a few obstacles, but updated and reassured me on everything as we went along.

They were friendly and professional and helped with advice and support. The move was a big and difficult one, but they handled it well and everything arrived in one piece.

Planning the move and flexibility with dates was also really well handled and communication was excellent up to the day of the move.

Thank you for making a difficult day more manageable.

They arrived with 3 vans and 5 lads and packed the house up in 3.5hrs, amazing. All the lads were friendly, reassuring and helpful. At the other end they arrived bang on time and had is unloaded in 2hrs. What a service, thanks guys, would recommend you to anyone.

Long-distance move from Burnley, Lancashire to Coventry, Warwickshire

A first class home removal service

I am an ex RAF Wife who has been relocated many times. Without doubt Baxters is a far superior Removal Company in comparison to others I have used over the years.

Even though Chris was away when I initially enquired, he still took my call & made an appointment to come to my home to conduct a survey. I agreed the quote to be reasonable & was pleasantly surprised there was no extra charge to move at weekends.

Tim & Sam were my movers & what a team they made!

Tim politely introduced both of them. I was a tad anxious as I am disabled & have speech problems. I had no reason to be apprehensive, as he listened & made it clear from the outset, even though they were moving my possessions I was top priority during the move. After showing them around the house & shed he made sure I had somewhere comfortable to sit while they loaded the van.

My bed frame was tricky to manoeuvre, Sam asked if he could take the bathroom door off its hinges & soon the frame was on the van. Once they had finished loading I was asked to walk around the house to make sure nothing had been left behind. Tim gave me his mobile number, so if I had any problems while driving I could call him.

Tim phoned me when they were a half hour out from the destination to check I was ok & to see where I was.

He helped to unload my car before starting on the van. He made sure my Cats had their Cat tree out first, which I found to be most conscientious. I explained where all the rooms were & Tim brought a chair in so I could be comfortable. He situated it so I was able to "supervise."

My bed was yet again a bit of a problem & would not fit up the stairs. It had to be completely dismantled, to my dismay. I didn't want for them to undertake extra work, as they had worked tirelessly. Tim assured me it was no problem for them & he would rebuild it, as I was physically unable. Once the van was unloaded I was asked to look inside to confirm nothing had been left behind.

I was treated throughout the day with respect & dignity. Nothing was too much trouble, in fact they went above & beyond. Both Tim & Sam asked several times during the day if I was ok & if there was anything they could do to help me.

They certainly provided me with a first class service, a credit to Baxters, which I hope Chris will acknowledge.

Many, many thanks Tim & Sam!

Long-distance move from Chorley, Lancashire to Helsby, Cheshire

First move for 37 years

From the very first meeting with Chris we felt confident we had found the right company to move us to our new property. Even when we had to change the address we were moving to there were no problems. On the two days we actually moved the teams of movers were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. On day one Dan, Tim and Lee efficiently loaded most of the heavy furniture onto the 2 vans and we drove to Cheshire and unloaded into the new property, all in the pouring rain. On day 2 Dan, Dayle and Phil repeated the process, but not as much rain. We can only thank them for everything they did for us. We will consider using them when we move again next year, although they will be more expensive because of the distances involved.

House Move

We’re in, unpacked and settled!! It’s 22 years since our last house move, so we were definitely not relishing the move. Baxters…were great, from start to finish. Chris was prompt in his initial response to our enquiry and instantly made us feel at ease. Moving day was made almost pleasurable, with Dan, Tim and Luke on the job.

The guys worked hard, were friendly and made sure we were installed and happy, before they left us.

We would have no hesitation, recommending the team at Baxters, to anyone looking to move.

Thank you guys! Good job ??

Long distance move

Moved from Preston to Sunderland, Tim and Luke came to load up the day before, then the day of the move Dan and Tony did the rest of the work and the journey there and back. All the lads were really polite, funny, strong and did anything to help; nothing was a problem. Couldn’t have asked for a better group to take away the stress of moving, would highly recommend them and the price was excellent. Chris organised it really well. Thank you so much!

Excellent Service

Thanks once again to Baxter’s for helping us move. We used Baxter’s in June and the service was brilliant, so when we wanted to move some furniture from my mums home, we asked for their help again. We were not disappointed. We had team Tim and Tom. They arrived on time, and set to work, they didn’t stop. They worked quickly and efficiently. They are clean and presentable. They consult with you to make sure you are happy throughout the move. The cost of this move seemed high at first, but it involved alot of dismantling of wardrobes and other furniture including an ottoman double bed. The lads did all this and put back together at the other end. I would not hesitate to use them for any move, large or small. I have and will continue to highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks again team Baxter’s

Packing and moving house.

Had such a good experience with the team from Baxters of Lancashire. Dan, Tim, Luke, Tony and Danny were cheerful, hardworking, polite and discreet. Nothing was too much trouble. All our belongings were packed with great care. Each room in our new house was checked to ensure everything was in the right place before they left. Our bed had a broken strut which they fixed, so we finished the day better off than we started. I would highly recommend them.

Nothing was too much of a problem for the guys and they managed to load items that I thought we might have to leave behind. They made the moving process very smooth and I would definitely use them again.
